FAMILY

How will my mother's caregiver be selected?

We have an extensive matching system to match the perfect caregiver to your loved one’s individual needs. This includes the necessary training, specialized skills, and preferences that your family has. We will work tirelessly so that you can be matched with the ideal Blue Water Homecare family member.

How do I know if home care is right for my father?

The best way is to contact Blue Water Homecare for a free in-home assessment. We take a family s individual needs very seriously and realize that what is right for one family may not be right for another. We start by doing a free assessment in the home followed by implementing a personalized care plan for your loved one. Everything is custom designed for the individual from the plan of care to the communication plan. Our sole goal is to meet your family where they live. We can schedule consultations during the day, at night, or on weekends.

My grandmother lives in an assisted living facility.

Can she benefit from home care services? Of course. We work with many facilities in your area and your loved one will benefit from the same personalized planning and care that we would provide in the home. Hiring a caregiver allows for one on one attention for your loved one.

Can we design a schedule that fits our schedules?

Working with your family to find the best-matched caregiver at the best schedule is something we pursue at Blue Water Homecare with laser focus. We will not stop until we match up with your family schedule and needs in a way that provides your loved one with an optimal sense of independence. We can schedule consultations during the day, at night, or on weekends. RNs are available 24 x 7.

Can insurance or Medicare/Medicaid help me pay for home care?

Medicare and Medicaid typically do not pay for the types of services provided at Blue Water Homecare. However, certain insurance policies and other plans can help offset the cost of aging in the home. During certain stages of life, in-home care can typically be less expensive than assisted living while providing care better suited to an individual.

CAREGIVER

I'm a caregiver. Is Blue Water Homecare hiring?

Yes. We always have room for caring, talented caregivers. We have a special Caregiver Mentor program that provides more support to caregivers in the field. We would love to talk to you. CONTACT US for job opportunities.

How is Blue Water Homecare different for caregivers?

We hire more CNAs than other agencies in the area and we pay above market rate. We have a mentor program to help support caregivers in the field and we do additional mentoring for caregivers planning to pursue nursing as a career.
